About A Bit Lucky


A Bit Lucky is a new generation of game developers whose passion is to make high-quality multiplayer games. A Bit Lucky’s first games, Lucky Space and Lucky Train, are among some of the highest-rated games on Facebook. Our new series of games will be hardcore transplatform multiplayer real-time games, playable on all platforms (PC/Mac, tablets, phones…)

A Bit Lucky is a team of game and internet industry veterans backed by prestigious investors including Nexon, Accel Partner’s Seed Fund, Rembrandt Venture Partners, Blumberg Capital, SV Angel, The Founder Collective, Felicis Ventures, Charles and Kai Huang (Co-Founders of Red Octane), Mark Jung (Co-Founder and CEO of IGN), David Lawee (Head of M&A at Google), Lerer Ventures, Joshua Schachter (Founder of Delicious), and XG Ventures.

Frederic Descamps is the CEO and Co-Founder of A Bit Lucky. Frederic has over thirteen years of experience in the gaming and technology industries. He served as head of Marketing, Community Management and Analytics at Trion Worlds. Prior to that, Frederic served as Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development at Xfire, which was acquired by MTV for $110M in 2006. Frederic is also the creator of the GAME (Gaming, Mobile And Entrepreneurship) Events, a quarterly series of meet-ups gathering several hundreds of people (http://on.fb.me/azC5jU).

Frederic holds an MA in Law from the University of Nice, France, an MA in Business Management from EDHEC Graduate School of Business, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chief Creative Officer & Co-Founder

Jordan Maynard is the Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder of A Bit Lucky. Jordan has over ten years of experience in game engineering and design. Prior to A Bit Lucky, Jordan was the Senior Director of Technical Game Design at Trion Worlds. Before Trion Worlds, Jordan was at EA where he did Engineering & Design on Spore, Tiger Woods, Madden, James Bond, and other successful titles. At EA, Jordan received three consecutive annual awards including the technology achievement award for his work on animation technologies used across multiple studios.

Jordan holds a BS in Computer Science with a Minor in English from San Diego State University.
